Tubeless tires are tubeless, but their appearance is similar to ordinary tires. A rubber sealing layer with a thickness of about 2~3mm is attached to the inner wall of the outer tire of the vacuum tire, which is specially used for sealing air. Ordinary tires do not have it. The air nozzle of the vacuum tire is directly installed on the rim, and the air nozzle of the ordinary tire needs to be fixed by screws.
1. How to identify whether a tire has an inner tube or not
Tubeless tires are tubeless, but their appearance is similar to ordinary tires.
2. Application environment of vacuum tire
Although vacuum tires have no price advantage, they are more and more widely used, mainly for the following reasons:
· There is no inner tube, cushion belt, pressure ring and other components, which reduces the weight of the vehicle and can increase the load capacity. At the same time, the heat generated by friction during driving can be quickly dissipated.
· The tire has good air tightness, and the air pressure will not drop immediately after being punctured during driving, which ensures the safety of driving.
Tubeless tires are more fuel-efficient and can save 3% to 5% of fuel compared to ordinary tires.
· It can reduce the damage to the road surface, because the vacuum tire is evenly stressed, and the damage to the road surface can be reduced when the load is increased.
Of course, vacuum tires are not all-round, and they also have shortcomings. For example, vacuum tires have less adhesion to earthy ground and muddy roads, and their stability is worse. Compared with vacuum tires, ordinary tires are more adaptable to harsh driving environments.
3. Low aspect ratio tires
In addition to ordinary tires and vacuum tires, another type of tire on the market has also been recognized by the majority of card friends, that is, low aspect ratio tires.
Aspect ratio: is the ratio of the height to the width of the tire cross section. The lower the aspect ratio, the wider the tire. There are usually 80, 75, 70, 65, 60, 55 and other types.
4. Why low flat tires can be widely used
· Low flat tires have larger ground contact area, increased friction coefficient and enhanced braking performance.
· The durability and load-bearing capacity of the tire are enhanced, and the truck is also durable.
· Good handling performance, reducing the deviation and slippage of the truck when driving on ice or water.
Having said so much, all kinds of tires have their own characteristics. How to choose truck tires? In fact, in different driving conditions, the effect of different tires is not the same. When choosing, it should be determined according to the vehicle's operating environment and economic conditions (for example, you can choose vacuum tires when you often shuttle in the city to load goods; you can pull goods in mountainous areas and muddy roads. Choose ordinary tires; choose low aspect ratio tires in snowy winter).
